Valve Cv Test

Control Valve Test rigs
 It is mandatory to test the different type of control valves to ascertain the valve capacity Cv/Kv value.  The valve capacity can be tested by creating a constant differential pressure across and change in different flow rate.
This facility is composed machine and electronic instrumentation for measuring flow, temperature and pressure difference. The flow capacity coefficient CV was determined experimentally by taking flow rate, pressure difference and temperature measurements. 
The test rigs can be designed for different type of throttling valves like Globe valve, segmental ball valve, Plug valve etc..
We offer a customized system for each control valve & customized test bed set up for group of control valves. The test set up includes a sump/ tank, pump, pressure control loop, reference flow meter, temperature sensor etc. We offer complete design, engineering, supply and commission the test bed for control valves.




We offer dedicated PLC to control the test bed with SCADA system to display the real time value, trends, reports. The electronic circuit with the graphical environment running under MS Windows can be installed in any PC. The test set up include the measurement of flow rate, inlet and outlet pressure & temperature, differential pressure across the valve.
The test bench can be used for checking the valve for it capacity Cv/Kv by simulating the given process condition. Customized test reports and performance curves can be plotted in the system directly. 
With this test bench we can characterize a new control valve in order to detect failures or malfunction of a control valve of the same type.
